Tavern in the Square Announces Partnership with the National Celiac Association

Tavern in the Square, a popular restaurant group in Boston, announced its partnership with the National Celiac Association on Tuesday, May 16th, to raise funds and awareness in honor of Celiac Awareness Month. To honor International Celiac Disease Awareness Day, bridges and buildings, around Boston including the Tavern in the Square, will be lit up in the color green for the night.

Twelve Taverns in the Squares will host a Gluten-Free Day with a special menu highlighting all gluten-free items, and 10% of proceeds will go to the National Celiac Association. The hashtag #shiningalightonceliac will be used to shine a light on all who have celiac disease.

Tavern in the Square is known for its wide variety of allergy options, including gluten-free and dairy items. The restaurant has a dedicated gluten-free menu, and all of its gluten-free dishes are prepared in a separate area of the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. Along with the recent change of fryers to make sure all fried items are gluten-free.

The gluten-free menu options will be available at all 13 Tavern in the Square locations and include a range of dishes that cater to those with gluten sensitivities or allergies. The menu is 76% gluten-free and features gluten-free alternatives to many of Tavern in the Square's classic dishes, including burgers, pasta, pizzas, and salads. Along with unique dishes like Fish and Chips, Bang Bang Broccoli, and items on the brunch menu.
