Kona Kai Resort & Spa's Vessel Restaurant + Bar Reopens May 29

Kona Kai Resort & Spa, a legendary resort managed by Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd., located on the tip of Shelter Island across from San Diego’s posh Point Loma neighborhood, today announced that the property’s signature dining destination, Vessel Restaurant + Bar will reopen on Friday, May 29 for dine-in and take-out for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Overseen by executive chef Roy Hendrickson, Vessel specializes in fresh California Coast cuisine and offers unobstructed views of the Kona Kai Marina and Point Loma with 43,000 square-feet of scenic outdoor space for safe summer dining.

The new take-out and dine-in menu features many of the restaurant’s favorite dishes such as Spicy Tuna Tacos ($10) and Crispy Skin Salmon ($26). Vessel’s signature brunch will also be available on the weekends with classic options such as the California Burrito ($16), Cinnamon Brioche French Toast ($14) and Pulled Pork Hash ($17). Guests looking to indulge in Vessel’s decadent, coastal fare from the comfort of their home will have the option to order take-out for pick-up or delivery by ordering online or by phone.

Vessel Restaurant + Bar has implemented new health procedures, protocols and preventative measures to ensure guests and staff members are safe and comfortable. With plenty of outdoor dining space, Kona Kai Resort’s courtyard will be an extension of the restaurant transformed into an intimate, coastal-dining retreat providing guests with optimal open-air space, breathtaking views of the sparkling pool and private beach, and cool coastal air. Vessel Restaurant + Bar is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays for brunch, lunch and dinner 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11a.m. to 9 p.m.
