C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar-Roswell Permanently Closes

C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar- Roswell will permanently close their doors on May 15, 2020. Opened in 2016 by co-owners Rich Clark and Jon Schwenk, the restaurant initially started out as C&S Chowder House and rebranded in 2019 to their original C&S concept, C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar.

For the past four years, C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar has proudly served their upscale American seafood from their Sweet Apple Village location in Roswell, Ga. While the restaurant has overcome many challenges throughout its lifespan, the unprecedented circumstance has led the team to make the very difficult decision to close down. As they prepare to move on, the owners thank their valued guests, hardworking staff and community for successfully making C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar a part of Roswell.

“We’ve been in the business for a long time and it’s never easy to make this kind of decision, but due to the unfortunate series of events we know this is ultimately what’s best,” says co-owner Rich Clark. “Although the situation is less than ideal, we could not be more thankful for the support we’ve received from our cherished staff, neighbors and loyal patrons throughout this journey and we look forward to the exciting chapters to come.”

Although the restaurant was unable to bid a proper farewell, local diners can support C&S Restaurant Group’s two additional concepts, C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar- Vinings and Hugo’s Oyster Bar that still remain open. The restaurant group will also welcome another C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar location to the Sandy Springs’ Modera complex this fall.
