Beef 'O' Brady's Parent Appoints Alan Rogers as VP of Organizational Learning and Development

FSC Franchise Co., the parent company of Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and The Brass Tap, has appointed 30-year restaurant industry veteran Alan Rogers as Vice President of Organizational Learning and Development. In his role, Rogers will focus on building out the brand’s leadership development programs and ramping up the New Store Opening process to handle the projected unit count growth for both brands.

Prior to joining FSC, Rogers was the Senior Director of Training and Ops Services at Huddle House Corporate for the past five years. Before that, he was a Brand President with Atticus Franchise Group, a large franchisee of Wingstop. Rogers started off his career with McDonalds, where he spent 18 years working his way up through store management and into various operations and training leadership roles. He has also had experience with brands such as Burger King and Church’s Chicken.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining FSC,” says Rogers. “I was drawn to the brand after seeing the excitement around the Brass Tap concept and trying it for myself. And having been a customer of Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in the past, I’m excited to see its growth as well.”

The hire represents FSC's continued investment and innovation in training and development. In 2023, the team is prepared for multi-camera, live webinar training. With the use of three cameras in the test kitchen, the brand will be able to show off different stages of the training process. With around 80% of all internet traffic being video based, FSC wants to enhance the learning process and streamline material for maximum efficiency.

“The existing training team has already set both brands up for success and I’m confident that I will be able to enhance it even further,” adds Rogers. “We have a tremendous audio video manager, a great instructional designer, project manager and some really talented management trainers. I’m looking forward to working with everyone.”

Having Rogers on board will aid FSC in working towards their goal of creating a more structured, holistic approach to the leadership process.

“We are so excited to welcome Alan on board,” says Chris Elliott, FSC Franchise Co. CEO. “We are very much looking forward to seeing how he will propel our investment in training and development forward at both Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and The Brass Tap.”
